 NylaPossibly a Lab/Pit mix, who came to us from an inner city animal control facility. She is a little shy at first but very sweet & just a baby who needs a safe place to land. As a young puppy she will need a family ready for all the typical puppy training including housebreaking, crate training, & learning basic commands. She should not be left alone for long periods of time. |  ThelmaA gorgeous brindle girl with the sweetest eyes and a playful puppy spirit. Thelma is a typical happy puppy who loves attention, playtime, and being close to her people. She will be scheduled to be chipped and spayed. She would do best in a home with a male dog or a female non Pittie.She is fully vaccinated & ready for her next chapter. We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt home within 60 minutes of Jackson NJ. |  Louise (Lulu)Our beautiful gray and white girl with a soft expression and a gentle, loving personality. She is a sweet, social puppy who enjoys playtime but also melts into you for cuddles. She is vaccinated and will be chipped and spayed soon.  ArchieA 2 y.o, medium sized handsome boy who was found as a stray. He's the perfect mix of playful & affectionate. He is reported to be dog-okay & enjoys being around people. Archie is up to date on vaccines and will be neutered. He’s currently in boarding where our dedicated volunteers are spending time with him, helping him settle in and shine. |  Broley4 y.o bully who recently returned to our care after a placement did not work out due to an incident outside of the home. He'd been living successfully as the only pet in the home & truly thrived there. He's crate trained, housebroken. He is friendly, affectionate, and bonds deeply with his people. He passed all of his assessments, has no resource guarding issues, and enjoys light walks He is great with older kids & would love a fenced yard (preferably 6ft) |  Bourbon~8m.o mixed breed weighing ~48lbs of pure puppy fun.He is a happy, wiggly, goofy boy who loves toys, rides great in the car, & happily goes into his crate.He's still learning his puppy manners & will need help with housebreaking and basic commands.He was said to live with two small dogs and wanted to play, and we will be dog testing him to be sure he is a good fit. Bourbon is up to date on vaccines, needs a distemper booster soon, and still needs to be neutered. |

 AmoraAmora is ~18 m.o & 45lbs of sweetness wrapped up with the cutest little piglet tail you have ever seen, constantly wiggling with excitement. She is learning how to walk on leash & sometimes does the most adorable little army crawl as she figures it all out. Amora loves to sit right at your feet, happiest when she is close to her person. She seems to do well with other dogs & would thrive in a patient home that can help build her confidence & show her the world is a safe & loving place |  Ace4 y.o merle boy weighing ~56lbs. He came to us from an inner-city shelter & quickly won everyone over with his sweet, gentle personality. He's people & dog friendly, (cats currently unknown). He initially showed mild resource guarding in the shelter but has since made great progress & now happily carries his bone around, hoping to share the love. Ace is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines |  JulietPetite 30lbs sweetheart who proves that the best things come in small, snorty packages.Juliet is estimated to be around three years old & is UTD on vaccines.She adores blankets, heated seats, & cozy time with her people.We are still learning how she feels about other dogs and cats. |
 Taffy4m.o pittie pup with a big personality. She's passed her temperament testing, did great meeting other dogs, is playful, social, & eager to learn. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, & microchipped. A home that has the time & patience for training, crate training, & housebreaking is needed. She would love to have another dog in the home or a solid plan to keep her dog social through appropriate outlets. Puppy training is strongly encouraged to help her grow into the best version of herself |  Chessie4-year-old brindle beauty, She’s loving, playful, and happiest when she’s leaning in for snuggles. She would do best in a home with children 10 years or older and without cats. She should avoid chew toys since she tends to get a little too excited about them, and she’ll need slow introductions with other dogs due to her high energy. She’ll thrive with someone who can provide ongoing training |  MajorThis handsome 3–4-y.o boy was found as a stray in a NJ city, but no one ever came looking for him. He’s sweet, gentle & pretty low-key though his body shows signs of neglect, but he’s already feeling better thanks to some TLC. Major has done great at events, loves events and is always rolling over for belly rubs. He's said to be dog-friendly, but we’ll be testing further. He's in boarding while waiting for a foster or forever family. |
 JaxThis guy is 5 year old Lab mix with the sweetest face & an even sweeter heart. He came in as a stray wearing a collar with his birthday on it, but no one ever came to claim him. Jax is a total lovebug who lights up when he sees his people. He enjoys walks, has great manners, & knows his basic commands. He’s a fetch pro, loves attention, & just wants to be part of a family. He’d do best in a home without cats or young kids, but he’s friendly with female dogs & eager to please. |  WillowWillow is a 6 month tan pittie pup with the sweetest little face and a heart to match. She's a wonderful puppy without the chaotic puppy energy when she's alone. She knows basic commands, is house broken & crate trained. A friendly, playful male may be a great match or she could thrive alone. Training lessons are included with her adoption. |  ShebaSheba is just 4 years old and came to us in heartbreaking condition—having lost nearly half her body weight in only a few months. Thanks to fast action from AHS Newark and the support of our board members, she is now safe and starting her road to recovery. She's been doing amazing in her foster home and at events loving everyone (including other dogs) that she meets. She is crate trained, housebroken & walks amazing on leash. |
